More than just meetups
Our events are curated experiences for the movers, makers, and community-seekers who are ready to try something new.
From movement to mindset, we host five styles of events designed to help you connect, grow, and have fun.
Think Slay Strolls, dance classes, self-love workshops, craft nights, and more, each one a feel-good space to show up just as you are (solo, nervous, curious, or everything in between).
-
Slay Strolls are our signature walk & talk moments—think hot girl walk meets high-vibe hangout. It’s the perfect way to move your body, meet new girlies, and have those "omg same!" chats that turn strangers into besties. Whether you're new to the community or a Hype Girl regular, Slay Strolls are low-pressure, high-connection, full of fresh air and feel-good vibes.
Come solo, bring your dog, wear your cutest and comfiest activewear, and get ready to walk, yap talk, and slay.

Social, themed, or glam events like burlesque boat nights, silent disco parties, dinners, and going-out style gatherings. High-energy and unforgettable.
You know that main character energy? That’s what Hype Nights are made of. These are our glam, loud, sparkle-core events where we let loose, turn up the music, and celebrate life out loud.
Think boat parties, disco nights, themed dinners, and a little bit of unforgettable chaos (the good kind).
These nights are your reminder that friendship should be fun and that you deserve to take up space, shine bright, and live your glitter girl fantasy.
-
Movement-based events like Pilates, walks (Slay Strolls), yoga, boxing, dance, and even silent discos. Fun, energetic, and inclusive.
Something to get you moving/dance classes, boxing sessions, yoga flows, our Movers events are all about hyping each other up.
Whether you’re a gym girly or not, these events are energetic, inclusive, and zero pressure. Show up, shake it off, and leave buzzing from endorphins and fresh connections. You might get sweaty, but you’ll 100% leave smiling.
-
Creative, hands-on workshops like pottery, paint & sip, makeup, jewellery-making, and other DIY-style events. Think artsy, fun, and aesthetic.
For the crafty girlies and curious creatives, Makers events are all about getting hands-on and having fun. Whether you’re painting, sculpting, sipping, or bedazzling, these workshops are designed to spark your imagination, soothe your soul, and get a little messy, in the best way.
It’s less about being“good” at something, and more about showing up, expressing yourself, and making memories (and maybe an oddly shaped mug or vase or two) along the way.
-
These are the soul-deep, heart-opening moments. Rise events are designed to help you reconnect with yourself, build confidence, and grow in community.
From self-love workshops to mindset journaling and real-talk panels, these gatherings hold space for both vulnerability and empowerment.
Show up exactly as you are, messy, radiant, unsure, brave, and leave feeling lifted, grounded, and seen.
Five event styles, endless ways to connect
The walk that started it all
Born from one simple idea: that walks are better with hype & friends, Slay Strolls are our signature weekly walk club.
What started as a casual Sunday stroll has grown into a feel-good ritual for anyone craving connection, movement and a little sunshine (when the Melbourne weather is on our side).
We meet Sundays at 9am in Elwood. It’s free to attend, just read & sign the waiver and then just show up. Keep an eye on our Instagram stories for weather updates before each walk.
Ever wondered why the disco balls…?
Spoiler: It’s not just because they’re fun and sparkly (but yes, that too.)
They’ve become a signature at Hype Girl Social Club, you’ll likely spot them at every event. And the reason is simple: they pull people in, and bring people together.
Disco balls are the centre of the dance floor, the magnet and anchor that everyone gathers around.
But what you might not realise is that they carry a lot of meaning too:
Celebration + joy: the light that makes you want to move
Freedom + expression: reminding us to show up as ourselves, unapologetically
Community: hundreds of tiny mirrors reflecting light together as one
A touch of whimsy & escapism: a reminder that life doesn’t have to feel ordinary
That’s the vibe we want at our events: spaces that feel magnetic. Where you might walk in a little nervous, but by the end of the event you’re yapping and giggling away with girlies you just met.
Our welcome sign lore:If you’ve been to a Hype Girl event, you know the sign.
The one that changes every time; sometimes sassy, sometimes sentimental, always iconic. It started as a way to make people smile when they walked in (because let’s be real, walking into a room full of strangers can be terrifying). But somewhere along the way it became a tradition. A little greeting ritual that reminds every Hype Girl that this space was made for her, and that she’s absolutely in the right place.
Got questions? We’ve got you.
Nervous to come alone? Not sure which event is right for you? You’re not the only one, and we’ve got all the answers waiting for you.
From what to bring, to how to join, to what “hype girl energy” actually looks like IRL, our FAQ’s have got you covered.
-
Absolutely. Most gals come solo (it's actually the best way to make new friends) and we design every event to be warm, welcoming, and low-pressure. Trust us when we say you won't be alone for long.
-
Yep, and often fast. Make sure you're on our mailing list and follow us on Instagram so you don’t miss a beat when tickets go live.
-
Our events are intentionally designed for people navigating the wild ride that is your 20s and 30s: shifting friendships, identity pivots, fresh starts, or just wanting more out of your social life. It’s less about age, more about the shared stage of life.
For that reason, we keep the vibe aligned by focusing on this chapter specifically. If that sounds like you, welcome home. -
Totally! We’ve had so many people tell us they were nervous to come, but left wishing they joined sooner. There’s no pressure to be the loudest in the room, just be you and we'll handle the rest.
The hardest part is showing up.
But the best part is everything that happens next.
