Meet the
founder
Hey, I’m Ash! AKA Head Hype Girl, Mindset Coach, and the girly who accidentally girl-bossed a little too close to the sun, and turned a one-off coffee stroll into a full-blown movement.
I never set out to start a community, in fact I didn’t even know I was a community builder until long after I’d built one. Before I found myself hosting events and managing this incredible community, I worked as a Physiotherapist with a background in Women’s Health and Wellbeing for over a decade. That knowledge and experience still shapes everything I do behind the scenes at Hype Girl Social Club, giving me a deep understanding of what women need to thrive not just physically, but emotionally, socially, and mentally too.
Now, I get to combine all of my favourite things: community, movement, and hyping up women (as well as disco balls, dancing and coffee) by leading Hype Girl Social Club; a space where women in their 20s and 30s can meet like-minded people, build real friendships, and feel like they belong.
As a recovering people pleaser, rebellion doesn’t come naturally, and something within me viscerally recoils at the thought of confrontation. But here’s the thing: so many of us grew up thinking we had to compete, shape shift to fit in, make ourselves small, or prove ourselves worthy enough to earn a seat at the table. Hype Girl Social Club is my disruption.
The truth is, we grew up on a diet of Gossip Girl glamour and Mean Girls competition; iconic, for sure, but they quietly taught us to compare, compete, and earn our worth through perfection.
Hype Girl Social Club is where we rewrite the narrative.
Through uninhibited fun, and collective effervescence we’re redefining what modern girlhood looks like, and honestly, it’s about damn time. Somewhere between the Barbie movie pink takeover and trading friendship bracelets and the Eras tour, we’ve been reminded of how powerful it is when women come together.
But it’s more than nostalgia or sequinned outfits; it’s rebellion. It’s proof that softness and strength can coexist, that joy can be a protest, and that community can be an act of resistance. Because for so long, we were told to be small, quiet, and palatable; to compete, not connect.
But that version of girlhood expired with our blockbuster memberships, because the next chapter of girlhood is ours to write, and it’s louder, kinder, and way, way more fun 🪩
